Welcome to the award winning Nene Waterfront

In the heart of the East Anglian Fens lies the historic town of Wisbech. With grand Georgian properties lining the banks of the River Nene, Wisbech has prospered for centuries.

To help the town continue to thrive, former industrial land alongside the River Nene is being turned into a vibrant riverfront area. It will create an exciting and pleasant place in which to live, work and spend leisure time and will build on the strong qualities and character that already exist in Wisbech.

The first phase of the £50 million regeneration project - the Boathouse Business Centre, Foyer Project, Yacht Harbour, Boatlift and Slipway - has been a stunning success. The Nene Waterfront Regeneration Project has already received national acclaim and several awards.

Work is currently on-going to prepare the ground for Phase Two, which will consist of more than 300 stunning modern apartments, houses and waterfront shops.

This dynamic of housing, leisure space and business facilities will act as a catalyst for investment across the whole of the town. It will create hundreds of new jobs, attract investment and increase economic growth as well as significantly enhancing the tourist attractions of the town.

This website will help you find out more about
these exciting plans for redevelopment in
